Library has a wide collection of latest books,
periodicals and CDs. This collection is expanded and updated each year.
The open access catalogue system (OPAC) provides reading and reference facilities for
both faculty and students. Online and offline information
is offered and new resources are added to provide a holistic and
comprehensive service.The institution maintains a general library, an IEEE library (restricted for IEEE members) and three department libraries
Digital Library
All IEEE/ASPP publications are available for referring and downloading. Developing Library Network (DELNET) can be used for referring to bibliographic information and availing online documents.

National programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) e-learning materials are available in the library. The 129 Web courses and 110 Video courses which are subscribed by our institution are available in the intranet (http://cecnptel).
Main Library
The main library is fully computerized and automated with RF based security system. The resources are classified based on the Dewey Decimal classification system. A separate section is maintained for reference books and standards. The library also maintains a separate reference collection consisting of encyclopedia, directories, data books and CD-ROMS. A book bank collection exclusively for SC/ST students (5 books per student per semester) is functioning in the library. A TEQIP book bank is working in the library for issuing text books to students for one semester, collecting a nominal amount. Text books are also issued from the Donated section of the library, a facility recently initiated by the alumni. The total collection of library as on 30.6.2012 is 20570 with 10860 titles. There are 34 National Journals, 176 International Journals and 18 technical Magazines subscribed in the print form, in addition to the regular periodicals.
Reprographic Service
The library offers photocopying service, printing and scanning facilities on cost sharing basis.
