Administration
The College of Engineering Chengannur was established in the year 1993, with a vision to create engineers having the drive, skill, and confidence to become the pioneers of tomorrow. The college was set up under the auspices of the Institute of Human Resources and Development (IHRD) and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU).
Principal
Prof. (Dr.) Smitha Dharan
Dr. Smitha Dharan graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from TKM College of Engineering, Kollam in 1992. She joined the College of Engineering Chengannur in the year 1994. She obtained her M.Tech in Computer and Information Science from Cochin University of Science and Technology in 2001 and her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Department of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics from the University of Kerala in 2010.
