Funded projects/events

  1. Forum on “Trends in Multi Scale Signal and Image Processing for Biomedical Instrumentation” is scheduled for 16th to 20th December 2021. The proposal is funded by the IEEE SPS for an amount of US$2900.

  2. Organized the event under the Local Events and Member-Driven Initiative with the title, “IEEE SPS Forum on “Signal Processing Aspects of Connected and Autonomous Vehicle (CAV) Systems” has been approved by the IEEE SPS for a financial assistance of US$1500, during 18th to 21st September 2021 at Kochi, through the IEEE Kerala Section.

  3. Coordinated the IEEE SPS funded Forum-”Colloquium on ML with Signal Processing for Data Analytics” at CUSAT during the 27th and 28th of September 2019. The event was organized under IEEE Kochi Subsection/Kerala Section and was funded by the IEEE SPS for USD4500 for my member driven initiatives.

  4. Coordinator/proposer of the World Environment Day celebration WED-2019) at Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara, with the funding sanctioned for my proposal from the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE-Govt. Of Kerala), titled “Swachh Vaayu-Unmasking our cities-challenges and solutions”, with the focal theme of beating air pollution suggested by UNEP. Event was organized on 29th June 2019

  5. Coordinator of the “Colloquium on Future Technologies:-Green Machines, Refurbishing & Eco-friendly Electronics“, to be organized at College of Engineering Poonjar on 22-2-2019 and 23-2-2019, in association with IEEE Kochi Sub Section and funded by the Directorate of Environment and Climate Change (DoECC-Govt. of Kerala), on my proposal for a sum of Rs.55000/-

  6. Coordinated, “FOSS for Engineers”:-A program organized with the funding of Rs. 20,000 from the International Center for Free and Open Source Software (ICFOSS-Govt. of Kerala) for my proposal, @ CE Poonjar during 15th and 16th October 2018, with the technical support from Technocratz-the Association of Computer Science and Engineering Students and IED Cell of CE Poonjar.

  1. Coordinated and conducted a colloquium of “Pervasive Technologies, Vanishing Jobs and Gig Economy”, @ College of Engineering Poonjar, during 11th to 12th May 2018. The program has got a financial assistance of Rs. 20,000 (Rupees twenty thousand only) from the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE-Govt. of Kerala) on my proposal. Event was inaugurated by Prof. Jyothi John
